There are some things that i think everyone can agree on. Price, affection and value. Pirat Partiet (PP) have blossomed since IPRED came into being here in sweden. They got alot of votes, think it was about 5% this last vote and have been given 1 mandate in EU.
Now alot consider PP for being media whores, and yes. They’ve done a great job at sucking in al the light that has been cast upon them. They aren’t that big yet as an opposition though they have some good ideas. Their main questions are integrety, patencies and government law enforcement even stretching out to touching FRA in that meaning.
I don’t think anyone can say that we should be allowed to download and steal from artists, movie authors and game creators. But they are touching on a vital issue.
Internet is fairly new and i don’t think the government know how to handle the massive flow of information that the internet holds. To get a strong fortitude i think that you should have two (or more) bending forces of their own will. The bar will then form into something that is suitable for all parties.
So i think PP’s entries in the politics is great and i support them in what they are trying to accomplish.
Free internet for everyone

Yepp same here. Completely support it. The counterweight is needed in the anti-internet environment that is currently brewing amongst politicians over Europe.
I personally don’t mind paying for my movies (have boxes of movies stored away). But I don’t want to buy them in physical form anymore. I want it on demand, when I want it.
But instead of evolve and take advantage of the new techiques and ways to distribute media they would rather chase their costumers with torches and pitchforks. Nowadays I get a bad feeling in my mouth every time I buy a movie from a store. It feels like I’m buying stuff from a criminal organisation.
What I first of all would like to see is the television networks tag on to streaming files. Some do this on their webpages but thats not what Im talking about. Im talking about getting it streamed straight into the teve and you can controll it straight from your own sofa. Instead of airtimes you have release times. Then you can watch it when you want. For instance, you get home from work, turn on the teve and see that both the new episode of That 70s show and a re-run of Deadwood has been released.
I would also be able to rent movies online for a decent fee. This service is a available through some companies. However the prices are way out of line and the supply is really low. Telia for instance charge 69 sek per movie. The local video store has a greater variety of movies and they charge 20 sek for the same movie. My own cable has a few movies every week. All unknown low budget movies.
Wow, this became allot longer then I first intended. haha! felt like I could go on forever
Yeah, indeed, there are alot of examples to this and what you are describing.
If you have more to add, please do so. Always nice to read your thoughts on things.
