I’m spontanious

Atleast I want to be spontanious. I always liked interacting with other people, for some reason I’ve always found it interesting. Well, I shouldn’t say always but atleast for the majority of my life (a whole 18-19 years atleast). However, last coupple of years have been harsh on me when it comes to meeting new people.

Sure, I’ve made some really interesting and cheerfull people over the MMO that I’ve spent most time with. However, it’s time to change.

Been thinking about it alot since me and Helena went down to the local shop just outside my job. She started talking very familliarly with the lady behind the counter, apparantly they had been talking alot and knew eachoter somewhat. Now, that isn’t a really huge deal. The thing is that I would never had started a conversation like that with someone at the store. I don’t know why but that just doesn’t happend.
Helena is very forward, very outgoing sort of person in my oppinion and I sort of admire her for that. She has no trouble at all “existing” or taking up space. I have a hard time finding the  words for what I’m describing, please bear with me.

I also want to be that person, I don’t want to be considered shy (even if I am). To deal with this fact or problem of mine I thought of a rule last week. It came to me as I was riding the buss home, I actually recognized alot of faces on that buss but had no idea of the people behind them. Quite sad actually, I know faces without a person attached to them, like masks no one is wearing (oh, how poetic am I huh?).

The actual rule is that if I for some reason se a face more than one time and recognize it I have to confront and talk to them. Now there are some restrictions, there can’t be people I have bonds with. Either they work in the same building, I’m bound to see those more than one time or being clercs at my local shop. There has to be something else making them re-appear infront of me.
The rules or restrictions are because I don’t want to make a fool out of myself infront of people that I’d be most likely to see again. It has to be complete strangers, male or female, bum or wealthy pigs - doesn’t matter.

I think this will help me get out of my little box more often, if it doesn’t and I make a complete fool out of myself for doing it - so be it. You have to take chances.
