This week has gone by amazingly fast in my oppinion, might have something to do with me actually taken an interest in what I do nowdays.
Since monday I’ve been on my new assignment, so thought I’d tell you alittle bit about that. What I can say is that this is the server maintenance/alarm/function centre. We pretty much monitor all servers on pretty much all different levels. We act on alarms given by automated alarming functions and also answer to developers calls about functions being unavailable/error reporting.
What seems quite interesting in all this is the extremely wide aspect, in comparasing to the pin-pointed and preciseness of some of the alarms. This seems to be a place where you never really stop learning stuff, if you’re dedicated.
The enviroment seems like something completely different than what I’m used to and I haven’t really gotten a good feel of how people act yet. There are alot of “mean” jokes floating around, something that I interpret as jokes atleast but I’m not quite sure yet. Since I don’t really know the people behind them irony and sarcasm is quite hard to read.
But yeah, I’m happy for the changes in my daily routine and it have (as expected) awakened my interest in my job.
On a side not I think that I’m starting to develop a sense of fashion, I actually want to go buy clothes.
It started last week when I went shopping for some things that I needed and got a few pants and so on. Now I need clothes that match them better. 
Probably I’ll be going to Kista after work today and get a new jacket and possibly a coat, depending on what I find. I already know what kind of jacket I want so that probably wont be that much trouble to find.
Oh, I got some really strong feedback (feedback being a over-positive term to what I got in respons), just as a side note - That is NOT how I think of myself or how I consider people around me. I wanted to write something fucked up. Apparantly, I succeeded.
