First day at work yesterday, it wasn’t really that hard to get into it again. Feels like i got a good start actually, in other words - it was very calm. Got to work about 08:00 and directly started drinking coffey so i could actually get out of my zombie state of mind and get some work done. I was later joined by my two collegues who arrived at about 09:00 so it wasn’t just me who felt like they wanted to take it easy the first day at work.
After getting a up-to-speed brief on whats been going on we went for lunch for about an hour and cached up a bit on what we’ve been doing during the summer. I also got to digest alot of “makup”-talk as i refer to it (that’s when my collegues talk about makup, clothes and whatnot), i’m not really in to that stuff but it’s nice to be back, i kinda missed it.
I’ve also begun to develop a storyline for my next wow-movie. This is going to be fully cinematic to a song called A little piece of heaven by Atreyu. It’s kind of a musical song and it feels like it’s been directly influenced by Tim Burtons Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride. Tim Burton has a really speciall way of doing movies, they are usually very dark and gothic (just the way i like it) set apart from Mars Attacks.
So the new WoW movie is going to be a story about an undead, but i’m not telling more than that until the great unweiling.
For this movie i’m going to use both direct in-game footage and i’ve also been looking into how Machinima works, some things are just to hard to actually shoot in wow, so you need some help with it. Hopefully, this movie will turn out as great as i imagine it.
If (by any chance) you’ve missed out on Tim Burton and his master pieces you should definently get yourself up to speed.
Here’s a list of all his movies, and i’ve marked the once i think is best with bold text.
I am going to use his sense of execution, but hopefully i will be able to sway it into something new.
